Foster The People hint at possible Beach Boys collaboration

Foster The People have revealed that they may be collaborating with The Beach Boys for a second time.

The ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ trio, who alongside Maroon 5, joined the legendary group on stage at the Grammy Awards earlier this year, told Fuse that they were then asked if they would like to team up in the studio together too.

The band have also recently supported the ‘Surfin’ USA’ stars at several shows in the US, something which frontman Mark Foster admits he was honoured to be involved with:

"My favourite part of the whole thing is just hanging out backstage and listening to their stories about hanging out with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Just crazy pop culture information. These guys just lived it."

The band also revealed just how close the two groups became during the week of their Grammy Awards performance:

"By the end of the GRAMMY week they felt like uncles of ours. And one of them hit on Mark Foster's mom! We can't say which one."

Foster then added: “My mom was in the house and my mom's a good-lookin' mom so I totally get it."
