Carly Rae Jepsen thanks Justin Bieber for career support

Carly Rae Jepsen has thanked Justin Bieber for the support he’s given to her career.

The 26-year-old, who signed to the Canadian teen idol’s Schoolboy Records earlier this year, told Capital FM that she couldn’t have asked for more backing from her famous label boss:

"[Justin has] been fantastic. He hasn't really taken on the boss role, he's just been probably my greatest supporter so far. Yeah, a friend. A work colleague and a friend."

The 'Call Me Maybe' singer, who made a guest appearance during Bieber’s slot at yesterday’s Capital Summertime Ball, went on to reveal how excited she was to play in front of a UK audience:

"It was amazing. I had a great time. Justin was so sweet to let me in on his set.

"I loved it when they sang along, the energy, you could feel it. It was the best feeling in the world."
