Producer Diplo shares experiences of working with Justin Bieber & No Doubt

Producer Diplo has discussed his experiences of working with both Justin Bieber and No Doubt on their upcoming albums.

The 33-year-old, who has also worked on 2012 releases from Usher, Marina & The Diamonds and Santigold, told Fuse magazine that he was very impressed at just how talented the Canadian teen idol is:

"The craziest thing about Justin Bieber is that the kid is really good at everything. He's really good at ping pong, the kid can rap, he has awesome hair, he's super cool and super nice.

"We did like four or five ideas [with him but] only one made the [Believe] album… We're lucky I got a record on the album… I hope the other records see the light of day."

The former school teacher also teased details of a track he produced on No Doubt’s long-awaited comeback record, adding:

“I'm a huge fan of No Doubt. We completed the record about a month ago—it sounds like a single for the album. It's called 'Push and Shove,' No Doubt featuring Major Lazer.

“I did my first remix ever for 'Hollaback Girl'… so big shout-out to Gwen Stefani for letting me do that back in the day."
