Actress and singer Julianne Hough has admitted that One Direction are her guilty pleasure.

The star, who appears in the film Rock of Ages, said that she loves the band's track 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

The Press Association quotes her as saying that she "wanted to hate" the song but she ended up really liking it. She said:

"I wanted to hate that song because it was so cheesy and corny, but it's like my favourite song. I love it - it's a guilty pleasure, it really is."

She added: "I don't even know what they look like. They're probably 12."

Hough meanwhile also opened up on her earlier years, revealing that she lived with a number of models. She said:

"It was really hard. I lived with a bunch of models, and I was like the butch roommate. I was the short one who never wore make-up, and they were these tall, gorgeous, beautiful models. And I was constantly working. I would get up in the morning and come back, and they'd still be in their pyjamas."
