Five dates on the Voice UK live have been scrapped, according to ticket website GetToTheFront.com.

A tour was planned off the back of the TV reality show, with 11 dates originally scheduled.

There had been speculation that the tour was suffering from poor ticket sales but there has been official word on figures.

However, GetToTheFront.com released a statement saying that five dates have been shelved, including a show at London's O2 Arena.

Other cancelled shows include dates in Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham and Aberdeen. A statement said:

"The Voice UK dates in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham and Aberdeen have been cancelled, tickets to be refunded."
