Kylie Minogue to receive 25th Anniversary O2 Silver Clef Award

Kylie Minogue has been announced as the recipient of the 25th Anniversary O2 Silver Clef Award.

The Aussie star will collect the award from the Nordoff Robbins charity at the event's ceremony in London next Friday (June 29).

In a statement, Minogue said she is "honoured" to be collecting the award, praising the charity for their music therapy work. She said:

"I am thrilled and honoured to be receiving the 25th Anniversary O2 Silver Clef Award from Nordoff Robbins. The work that Nordoff Robbins does, using music therapy to transform the lives of vulnerable children and adults is amazing. This will be a special event and I am delighted to be able to attend and reunite with many friends too."

As previously reported, Kylie recently set out some plans for retirement when she eventually hangs up her pop boots - running a cafe in Australia, run by herself and her sister Dannii.
