British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has praised the talents and personality of country-pop sensation Taylor Swift after recently spending time in the studio with her. 

The pair got together back in May for a writing session and although the 'Small Bump' hitmaker has now confirmed that the music they made won't appear on his forthcoming new album, he had nothing but good things to say about her during an interview with Pop Crush:

"It's such a pleasure to have people like her in the music industry. She has the talent and is so down to earth, head and shoulders. I've never really met acts like [Taylor]."

"You hear horror stories about younger musicians who kind of go a bit off the rails, but she's so together and so kind of professional and knows what she wants, but isn't too harsh."

"She's just a really sweet, gentle person, so yeah that's what surprised me is that she was sound."
