Spice Girls to auction iconic outfits for charity

Spice Girls are set to auction off some of their classic clothes to raise money for charity.

The 90s pop group recently reunited for the day as they launched new musical Viva Forever!, which is based around the band.

The Mirror reports that to coincide with the musical, the five ladies will auction off some of their Spice Girls clothing for Save The Children and Children In Need at a gala event.

Items expected to go up for sale include Victoria Beckham's leather and PVC outfits and Mel C's Adidas tracksuits. Geri Halliwell's famed Union Jack dress will not be part of the auction.

Speaking about her outfits, Victoria Beckham said that it will be "fantastic" to raise money for charity. She said:

"I've got all my costumes still. I can't wait for Harper to grow a little so she can have some. But the rest I'd like to put up for charity, I think it would be a fantastic thing to do. Everything we did at the time was great, it really was great. We watched a little video Geri put together and I think we were nearly all brought to tears."
