Jessie J has her eye on 'Cats' role

Pop sensation Jessie J has revealed that she's keen to join the cast of well-loved musical 'Cats'.

Andrew Lloyd Webber, who composed the iconic production, told Capital FM that the 'Domino' songstress asked him for a role in the show and admitted that she would be more than welcome to join the show:

"Well she says she wants to. She's welcome on any of my stages. She's been talking about saying she wants to do Cats – I have to ask her later what she actually means by this."

She was present at the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef awards ceremony yesterday, where she was presented with the trophy for Best British Live Act by her fellow 'The Voice' judge Tom Jones (pictured above left).

Jessie J took to social networking site Twitter during the ceremony and shared a story from an attendee that really touched her, writing:

"A lady just spoke about her son Declan at the #nordoffrobbinsawards and how before he lost his life the music therapy they provide gave him happiness."
