The singer's grandmother Dolly recently passed away and she has been taking to Twitter to pay her respects.

Rihanna has uploaded photos of herself with Dolly and recently posted some words in tribute.

She tweeted last night (July 2): "Memories don't live like people do #grangranDOLLY."

As previously reported, Rihanna has cancelled her performance at Madrid's Rock in Rio event, which was due to take place on July 5.

The organisers of Rock in Rio Madrid yesterday (July 2) confirmed her decision not to attend the festival.
