Actress pens open letter to 50 Cent after he makes autism jibe on Twitter

Rapper 50 Cent recently made an offensive reference to autism sufferers on social networking site Twitter and his insensitive comments prompted an actress to confront him publicly.

One of the 'In Da Club' hitmaker's followers asked him to release his long-awaited new studio album and in response, he retweeted the request with an additional remark in front of it that read:

"Yeah just saw your picture fool you look autistic RT @yung_raditz @50cent Release the album or get shot again."

Fiddy then continued by writing: "I dont want no special ed kids on my time line follow some body else."

Holly Robinson Peete, who starred in the movie '21 Jump Street', was so shocked by his lack of consideration that she spoke to Autism File magazine about the incident and explained that her eldest son is autistic, so it was particularly offensive:

"When I read (the tweet) it my heart sank. I thought maybe your account had been hacked. No such luck. You went on to joke about not wanting “special ed kids” on your timeline. Seriously, THIS is how you use your platform of 8 million plus followers?"
