Rita Ora has revealed that Beyoncé told her to just be herself - and "everything else will follow".

Rising star Ora has been compared to global superstar Rihanna in the past but it seems like Beyoncé thinks she should make her own path in the music business.

Speaking to Marie Claire, Ora said that she finds it a compliment to be compared to Rihanna - but she revealed that Beyoncé told her to "know herself". She said:

"It's a compliment to be compared to Rihanna. But you do have to hold your own."

She continued: "If you know yourself then everything else will follow - that's what Beyoncé told me. She was always one of my idols, so to have her in my face was amazing."
