The Wanted record track co-written by Dappy

The Wanted's Nathan Sykes has revealed that the rest of the group are laying down vocals on an exciting new song.

He took to Twitter earlier this afternoon and explained that he wrote a track with N-Dubz star Dappy and songwriter/producer Fraser T. Smith (Taio Cruz's 'Break Your Heart' and Tinchy Stryder's 'Never Leave You'), and they have decided to record it while in the studio:

"The boys are currently putting vocals on the track @TheDappy, @FraserTSmith and I wrote ... Sounds awesome!!"

Yesterday, the heartthrobs promised fans that new material will be released "soon" and Sykes added that their new music will blow people away: "People are not gonna know what to do with themselves ... ‪#expecttheunexpected‬!!!"

The lads also tweeted a link to a new video today (July 13), which they accompanied with the caption: "This is what happens if you spend the day with us in Paris! :)"
