Jessie J makes dying schoolboy’s wish come true by inviting him to sing on stage

Jessie J made a terminally ill schoolboy’s wish come true when she invited him up on stage to sing ‘Laserlight’ alongside her in front of 11,000 fans.

Seven-year-old Dan Sullivan from Hartlepool, who has just weeks to live after being diagnosed with a rare aggressive form of leukaemia, was left stunned after his pop idol asked him to perform her current single during her show at Shrewsbury’s The Quarry.

Mum Gillian, who organised the surprise with the help of the Believe In Magic charity, told the Hartlepool Mail that she really appreciated The Voice judge agreeing to get involved in such a cause:

“He loves her, and thought it was great when she allowed him to sit on the stage at her concert in Shrewsbury. I think he was gobsmacked, but he loved every minute of it.

“She asked him to sing alongside her, he thought it was great in front of so many people.

Jessie J was really down to earth, she spent about half an hour fussing over Dan and she couldn’t have been nicer. We really appreciate all the efforts she and the charity went to.”
