Backstreet Boys confirm new album with all five original members

Well-loved boyband Backstreet Boys delighted their fans around the world earlier today (July 17) by revealing they're recording a brand new album with all 5 original members.

The 'As Long As You Love Me' heartthrobs spoke to Good Morning America this morning via satellite link from the UK and admitted that they've reunited to work on new music together for the first time in over 7 years.

Member Kevin Richardson walked out on the group back in '05, but they have since released 2 other full-length albums and now Richardson has rejoined to create new material. Howie Dorough and Nick Carter explained:

"We are really excited, this is actually our first time in the studio together - all five of us - since 2005, we are recording our brand new record right here in London."

"It's awesome, it really is, the vibe is fantastic... it's just been really organic and our vibe - it's like never before. It's revitalised and we're having so much fun."
