Amelia Lily: 'I've heard brand new Girls Aloud songs'

X Factor finalist Amelia Lily has set Girls Aloud fans' tongues wagging across the world after she revealed that she's heard brand new material from the well-loved group.

In a new interview with Popjustice, the platinum-haired singer explained that she was played new songs belonging to Girls Aloud during a recent studio session.

Although the 'Call The Shots' stars have confirmed that a reunion is on the cards to celebrate their upcoming 10th anniversary, they haven't yet spoken about working on new tracks but Lily's exciting piece of news implies that the five-piece have been creating tunes together:

"Yes I have [heard new Girls Aloud songs]. But I’m not telling anyone about them, it’s top secret.” When asked to rate what she heard out of 10, she added: "I’m not saying, sorry.”

Back in May, producers Xenomania teased their Twitter followers by revealing they were recording new Girls Aloud sessions:

"Prepping to go in the studio with @NadineCoyleNOW for new GA sessions... New GA sessions with @NicolaRoberts @KimberleyJWalsh @SarahNicHarding in the studio over the last week."
