Dr. Conrad Murray: 'I've been told Katherine Jackson wants to talk to me before she departs this life'

The imprisoned Dr. Conrad Murray has revealed that he feels compelled to speak with Katherine Jackson following this week's dramatic events.

Katherine was reported missing a few days ago, but appeared on television and made a statement to explain her sudden disappearance.

Both her grandchildren, Paris and Prince Michael, subsequently took to social networking site Twitter to air their concerns over her whereabouts and mental state and were relieved upon her return. Now, the doctor convicted of the involuntary manslaugter of Michael Jackson has explained he felt a strong urge to contact Katherine.

His lawyers, on his behalf, told CNN: "I've been told that she has a desire to speak with me before she departs this life."

"Seeing that she is up in age and in questionable health, and the fact that she is the mother of a very dear departed friend, it would give me great pleasure to sit with her one-on-one and answer any questions she might have."
