Woman who threw brick through Simon Cowell's window has been sentenced

The woman who confessed to smashing a window in Simon Cowell's house with a brick, has been given a 12-month community order.

In March (2012), 30-year-old Leanne Zaloumis hurled a brick through his window, while Cowell was watching television in a different room. She was later found by the police hiding in his home.

Zaloumis, who pleaded guilty to the charges made against her back in July, was sentenced at London's Isleworth Crown Court by judge Robert Winstanley and will have to undergo mental health treatment as a result of her behaviour at Cowell's Holland Park home.

She was also handed a restraining order to keep her from approaching or contacting Cowell, who wasn't present at the hearing.
