Mel B says Spice Girls musical made her cry

Mel B has revealed that she cried after seeing a workshop for the upcoming Spice Girls musical Viva Forever!.

The 90s pop group are the inspiration for the new musical, which is set to launch at the end of the year in London.

Mel B said that she got emotional watching the musical's team prepare for the show. She said:

"I have been to see the workshop for the theatre show and it did make me cry. Maybe it's me getting older."

Mel B also commented on rumours that the original members of the band don't quite see eye to eye these days, claiming that they are all still on good terms. She said:

"We are friends. Even though I call them my bitches, I love them. I am always up for a Spice Girls reunion."

The 'Wannabe' stars have been heavily linked with performing at the Olympic Games closing ceremony on August 12 in London but there has been no official confirmation yet.
