Little Mix producer compares them to Destiny’s Child

One of the producers of Little Mix’s upcoming debut album has compared the X-Factor girlband to Destiny’s Child.

Jim Beanz, responsible for records by the likes of Chris Brown, Shakira and Rihanna, said that that he was very impressed by the 2011 talent show winners after working with them on two tracks:

“They are going for a very strong, independent, girl power-type album.

“They reminded me of Destiny’s Child when they first came out. They have the same energy and individual styles.”

The Timbaland protégé, who also revealed that the girls are looking to collaborate with a big-name rapper, went on to hint at the type of sound Little Mix fans can expect from the record:

“They told me they were looking for up-tempo, dancey, clubbing records. I got the girls in the booths, we had a great session and got two great tracks.”
