Loveable Rogues on supporting Tom Jones: "The crowd threw knickers at us"

Lovable Rogues have revealed that they were attacked with underwear on stage whilst they supported Sir Tom Jones.

The popular trio were snapped up by Simon Cowell's record label soon after leaving TV show Britain's Got Talent.

They ultimately lost out in the final of the show, with the dog Pudsey reigning supreme, but they have gone on to perform around the country since the final.

One show was supporting Sir Tom Jones and Eddie Brett said they enjoyed a good response from the crowd. He said:

"We were in front of a much older audience than we're used to. They threw knickers on stage, danced about and thankfully were up for a proper jolly!"

Brett added that gigs at universities are usually the most intimidating due to the prominence of alcohol. He said:

"Gigs at universities are the most intimidating because they've all had a bit to drink, lost their inhibitions and they're your age. We're not scared of it, but the reaction is always going to be 50/50 there."
