Rihanna referred to as a "no go" by skincare brand Nivea

Bajan beauty Rihanna has been branded a "no go" by skincare company Nivea despite the fact that she has previously appeared in several commercials for the brand.

The 'Only Girl In The World' superstar's last tour was sponsored by Nivea, but it seems that her partying lifestyle and scantily clad photos don't support the company's "family" orientated appeal as Stefan Heidenreich, the new CEO of Nivea's parent company Beiersdorf, told German newspaper Welt:

"Rihanna is a no go. I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability."

Earlier this afternoon (August 7), Rihanna took to social networking site Twitter and posted a series of personal photographs from nights out that show her enjoying the club atmosphere and she also shared a picture of Nivea's Heidenreich that she accompanied with the tagline: "No caption necessary."
