Example: "I would like to write a song for One Direction"

Example has revealed that he would be up for writing a song for One Direction.

The British boyband are currently in the throes of recording their follow-up to 2011 debut album 'Up All Night' as they look to cement their status as global superstars.

'Say Nothing' maestro Example has revealed that he is open to writing songs for anyone - and that includes One Direction. He said:

"I always go in [the studio] with a song title and a concept, then after the song's done I'll go, 'Yeah, that sounds like The Wanted', or 'Why don't we pitch that to Kylie?' or 'Why don't we pitch that to Enrique Iglesias'?"

He continued: "I'd like to get a song on Enrique's album. I'd like to write a song for One Direction. I'm not really averse to who sings my songs."

Example's solo career meanwhile sees the Brit release his new album 'The Evolution Of Man' in November.
