DJ Skrillex says he recorded music for Kanye West's new album

Dubstep producer Skrillex has revealed that he worked with 'Flashing Lights' superstar Kanye West on some new music.

He admitted to The Daily Beast that he spent time in the studio with West to create music for the follow up to his 2010 album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy', and teased that their collaboration could well be the new record's lead single:

"I did some music with Kanye and from what I know, it's actually going to be the first song on his new album."

Skrillex also hit back at criticism over his digital style of DJing and added that it's easy to "invalidate" anything, but at the same time it's important to 'create an effect' and he performs with integrity:

"It’s all about creating an effect. The Ramones played fuckin' four chords. It's about the emotion, the movement, the music you create. The 'pushing buttons' criticism is just missing the point. You could invalidate anything if you wanted to."
