'Dark Side' sensation Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she's feeling more content in her own skin with age and she's enjoying finally embracing herself for who she is.

Speaking to People magazine, she explained that she's at a fantastic point in her life and is incredibly in love with her boyfriend, Brandon Blackstock:

"I think as you get old you just get less worried about the little stuff that doesn't matter and you focus more on the bigger picture. And, you know, I'm also in love. I'm just super happy right now."

The star also opened up about her relationship and added that they're a very low-key couple who get on very well partly because they work in the same industry:

"We're very super real - like, what you see is what you get. So I don't think we're cool enough to have something super surprising [about us]. One of my favourite things is we're both in the business. He gets my job and he gets how busy it can get, and he gets the sacrifices that we both have to make with our jobs."
