Caroline Flack 'hurt' by offensive One Direction magazine article

An article attacking Caroline Flack was published in a fan magazine called 'Girls' Guide to One Direction' back in May, but attracted a lot of attention today (August 15) and it has prompted the Xtra Factor host to speak out about it.

Flack, who famously dated the 'One Thing' heartthrob Harry Styles, was victimised in the offensive editorial as a photo of her was used in a 'voodoo doll' type of way and distasteful captions were printed beside her body parts including one by her left hand, which read:

"Note: Zero engagement rings. Because no one wants to be with her."

She took to social networking site Twitter this afternoon and told her followers that it was deeply upsetting to read and she's disgusted that such a feature openly encouraging bullying had been published:

"Im very aware about the voodoo doll article in a certain magazine and have been for some time. It was one of the most hurtful things I've ever read."

"But thankyou for all the nice supportive messages! I dont take notice of nasty things written to encourage bullying x"
