Alexandra Burke: "I'm not a diva"

Alexandra Burke has quashed rumours that she is a "diva".

There have been the occasional murmur that the 2008 X Factor winner can be high maintenance, but Burke has confirmed that it is anything but the truth.

She told the Metro that it upsets her when she reads people making false accusations about her personality but added that it comes with the territory of being famous. Burke said:

"A few online stories said I was this massive diva, which I'm not. That's the only thing I've ever read that's upset me. I don't know where that came from but people make up horrible stuff – it comes with the job."

The vocal star also commented on her performance at the recent marriage of JLS singer Marvin Humes and The Saturdays' Rochelle Wiseman, adding:

"It was a beautiful wedding and it was a real honour to perform for two dear friends. I sang 'I'm Every Woman' and 'All The Man That I Need'."
