Little Mix beauty Perrie Edwards has revealed that boyfriend Zayn Malik had to be approved as suitable for her by her older brother, Jonnie. 

Speaking to Look magazine about her relationship with the One Direction heartthrob, Edwards joked that her sibling is very protective of her and wanted to make sure Malik was good enough:

"It’s really important to me that he gets on with them all but it’s my brother Jonnie that Zayn had to get past. He passed the test!"

She also opened up about how they spend their time together and added that they enjoy laying around watching movies:

"We just chill out on the sofa, I’ll wear the purple onesie Zayn got me – he’s got one too!. I get quite homesick so slobbing out watching a Disney movie reminds me of home."

In the same interview, the blonde bombshell admitted that despite often being apart from each other because of their hectic schedules they keep in touch regularly and he treats her "like a princess".
