Justin Bieber: "Fame can tear you apart"

Teen sensation Justin Bieber has admitted that despite rising to a global level of celebrity, he makes sure he remains grounded because he knows the dangers of fame.

In a new interview with VIBE magazine, the 'Boyfriend' superstar explained that life in the spotlight becomes a threat when you view yourself as "famous", so he tries to stay level-headed and keep a low profile:

"What does that really mean, 'to be famous'? In general, fame can tear you apart, so you can never really feel like you're famous."

"When people start acting like they're famous, that's when they start losing it."

He also joked that he's glad he got good genes from his young parents because he "hates shaving", adding: “It’s really going to suck when I have to start shaving every day. My mom looks pretty young and my dad does, too, so hopefully I will, too."
