Little Mix have released a video of themselves covering fun.'s hit song 'We Are Young'.

The US pop-rocker's track, which originally featured Janelle Monae, proved to be a 2012 success story after it hit charts across the world.

Little Mix, who were pieced together on the X Factor a year ago, celebrated their 1st birthday on Sunday (August 19) and they released the 'We Are Young' cover to mark the milestone.

Their version sees the quartet sing with only stripped back acoustic guitar as the girls show off their harmonising skills.

As previously reported, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards recently spoke about how the group want to have as much input as possible in writing and producing their songs, with the singer adding that she brings rock and Motown influences to the table.
