One Direction have announced the name of their new single, ‘Live While We’re Young.’

The boyband uploaded a video to YouTube at 1pm today which also confirmed that the track will be available to pre-order from midnight tonight, with its official release date scheduled for September 30. 

Louis Tomlinson then added: “We want to say a massive thank you to you guys cos we wouldn’t be where we are today without you so thank you.”

Written by Savan Kotecha, Rami Yacoub & Carl Falk, the song is the first release from the follow-up to 2011 debut ‘Up All Night,’ which will be out in November and features material penned by Dr Luke (Katy Perry ‘Teenage Dream’, Taio Cruz ‘Dynamite’), Shellback (Maroon 5 ‘Moves Like Jagger’) and Toby Gad (Beyonce ‘If I Were A Boy’).
