Cover Drive insist Dappy was on best behaviour for ‘Explode’ collaboration

Cover Drive have insisted that Dappy was on his best behaviour during their collaboration on new single, 'Explode.'

The Barbados quartet, who reached number one earlier this year with 'Twilight,' told Digital Spy that they enjoyed working with the controversial N-Dubz star on the video for the fourth release from debut album, 'Bajan Style.'

Singer Amanda Reifer said: "We sent him the song because the song is originally a song off our album, 'Explode', and we thought he'd sound great on it, so we weren't in the studio when he did it. He just sent it back to us and we loved what he did with it so we decided to make it a single.

“He was really professional and he appeared in the video, he made a cameo and that's when we saw him and he was really very talented. We didn't have any crazy moments with him. Everything went smoothly."

The 21-year-old also revealed that the group can’t wait for their upcoming support slots with JLS and Kelly Clarkson:

"Yeah the JLS dates start this coming Sunday so we're very excited about that. Those guys are hilarious and they're always fun.

“The Kelly Clarkson dates we are extremely excited about and especially being the main support it's incredible. We met her the other day and she's so down to earth, and we're huge fans of hers so it'll be great."
