Emma Bunton has revealed she is hoping to land a part on the new Absolutely Fabulous film.

The 36-year-old, who has already appeared several times on the hit BBC comedy series, told The Telegraph that she would love to join Edina and Patsy on their big-screen adventure, which is reportedly set on the French Riviera:

“I’ve been working closely with Jennifer on the Spice Girls musical Viva Forever! 

“Now she is turning her attentions to the Absolutely Fabulous film, and I am hoping there might be a part in it for me. I feel like a part of the Ab Fab family as I have done a few cameos for the television series.”

The Spice Girl-turned-radio DJ also recently declared her admiration for bandmate Victoria’s fashion range during an interview with Look magazine:

'”I'm really lucky! She's sent me some lovely things. I wore one of her dresses a while ago for the Sex And The City 2 premiere.

“Her dresses just make you feel so womanly. I've got a couple of her long dresses at home too. They are absolutely beautiful.”
