N-Dubz star Fazer to launch orchestra themed TV talent show

Fazer is set to go head-to-head with N-Dubz bandmate Tulisa Contostavlos after revealing that he is starting his own TV talent show.

Tulisa has already got a head start on Fazer, with the singer joining up with the UK version of the X Factor in 2011.

Fazer, however, is set to launch his own show on the BBC that searches for underprivileged children to form an "urban orchestra".

The series, which will be called 'Fazer's Urban Orchestra', will eventually see young music players given the chance to test out their skills in concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Fazer said:

"I'll be looking for really talented players that are underprivileged. From violas, to violins...all the strings, percussion, brass, drums, everything like that. I'll put together people that wouldn't necessarily get the opportunity to perform in a prestigious place, or even with a full orchestra, and create an urban orchestra which will really set me up for my tour next year."

He continued: "When I start my tour, on the first day at the Royal Albert Hall, I'll be using my orchestra. It's gonna be something to watch. At the end of the show, I want to be able to say, like in Gladiator: 'Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained?'."

Filming for the show is expected to start in 2013.
