The father of One Direction star Harry Styles has revealed that the singer is always a hit with the ladies.

The 18-year-old has developed something of a reputation as a womaniser since leaving the X Factor in 2010, with the tabloid media regularly linking him to new women.

It has been occasionally suggested in the past that some females may be put off by this - but his father Des told the Daily Star that his son has always been successful with women.

He added, however, that the 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer doesn't get arrogant as a result of his skills with the opposite sex. Des Styles said:

"He's never had any trouble with the girls but he'd never get cocky and big-headed about that."
