Will.i.Am's song 'Reach For The Stars' to premiere on Mars

Music mogul Will.i.Am is set to premiere a song on Mars following the Curiosity rover's safe landing on the planet.

A message posted to NASA's official website explains that the hitmaker's track 'Reach For The Stars', which is his "new composition about the singer's passion for science, technology and space exploration', will be broadcast across the dusty terrain tomorrow (August 28):

"NASA will hold an educational event to share findings about Mars with students and premiere a new song by musician Will.i.Am that will be broadcast from the surface of the Red Planet via the Curiosity rover."

NASA also confirmed that the special event will take place "at 1 p.m. PDT (4 p.m. EDT) Tuesday, Aug. 28, at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California".
