Niall Horan's dad not looking for gifts from son

Niall Horan's father has revealed that he isn't looking for any favours from his son despite the singer becoming a global superstar.

The 18-year-old One Direction star was a virtual unknown until appearing on the X Factor in 2010 - with worldwide success soon following.

Niall's father Bobby Horan is quoted by the Daily Star as saying that he isn't looking for any gifts from his son, whose fortune will be no doubt steadily rising.

However, there is one thing he would like - a bicycle. He said:

"What I want from him is a pushbike. Apart from that I want absolutely nothing from Niall. I'm happy with what I've got."

As previously reported, One Direction's forthcoming new single 'Live While We're Young' was recently named as the fastest selling pre-order single ever.
