Christina Aguilera on her "feel-good" and "super expressive" new album

Vocal sensation Christina Aguilera has opened up about her forthcoming new studio album and has compared it to a "rebirth".

Speaking to Billboard.com about the record, she explained that she's "been through a lot" since the release of her last cut and the experiences she's had have shaped her musically as well as personally:

"I've been through a lot since the release of my last album, being on ('The Voice'), having had a divorce. This is all sort of a free rebirth for me."

"I'm embracing many different things, but it's all feel-good," she confessed before adding that her new collection of songs is "super expressive" and showcases a "super vulnerable" side to her.

On August 21, Aguilera took to her official Twitter page and told her fans that she was about to start work on a new music video: "Its finally here- MUSIC VIDEO shoot day!!!!!!!!! Get ready guys!!!!!!!!!!"
