Lady Gaga laments the effects of fame

Lady Gaga has expressed her sadness at how some people seem to alter their behaviour around her because she is now famous.

Posting on her social networking website Little Monsters, Gaga said that it is sometimes "so unbearable" that people change when their friends get famous.

She added that whilst some people think it is the star that goes "crazy" when they become famous, it is actually the people around them. She said:

"It is so unbearable at times the way people change when you become famous. Everyone says we go crazy. We make everyone around us go crazy. The Fame does. Wish I could put that in a bottle and sell it for 60 euro."

As previously reported, Gaga recently posted an open letter on Little Monsters suggesting that she had been betrayed by the people around her over the past year.

The 'Born This Way' singer revealed that she felt "free" again after removing negative influences from her life.
