One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has confirmed that the band's next album will be called 'Take Me Home'.

As previously reported, fans of the band began to speculate this morning (August 29) over the group's new album after a deluxe edition of the mysterious album 'Take Me Home' appeared on iTunes.

It was scheduled for a November 9 release but only appeared in some countries and was later removed.

However, singer Louis Tomlinson confirmed on Twitter this afternoon that their next album will be called 'Take Me Home'. He tweeted:

"So pleased to tell you that our new album is called "take me home" can't wait for you to hear it! More news soooon! #takemehome."
