X Factor's Lucy Spraggan explains why her music was removed from iTunes

New X Factor hopeful Lucy Spraggan has opened up about why the track she auditioned for the talent show with, which she wrote herself, was removed from iTunes.

'Last Night' became an instant hit with the studio audience and viewers alike, and it peaked at No.2 on the UK iTunes chart although it was soon taken down from the online store.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the decision, she explained that she had to honour the requests of the show's producers so it was out of her hands: "I was asked by the people behind The X Factor [to take it down]."

"We discussed it and to make it fair to the other contestants and to kind of take this away and put it away for a bit and to focus on The X Factor, we took it down. I took it down as soon as they asked."

It was also revealed that her album, entitled 'Top Room At The Zoo', has now suffered the same fate.
