One Direction want to sell a single in space to aliens

One Direction have revealed that they would like to be the first band to sell a single in space.

The British pop group have enjoyed huge success across the globe this year but it seems they have got even bigger ambitions than just achieving world domination.

Niall Horan said that in a decade aliens could be purchasing his band's music - and he reckons it is an "obtainable" target. He said:

"I think our goal for ten years down the line should be to sell a single in outer space and be the first band to do so. I want aliens to buy our music. It is worth a shot and is obtainable."

Louis Tomlinson added: "We should speak to that band 30 Seconds To Mars – they could probably help us."

As previously reported, will.i.am recently had his new single 'Reach For The Stars' beamed from Mars to a NASA centre in America.
