Little Mix have confirmed that they are heading out on tour early next year.

The 2011 X Factor winners have yet to embark on a headline tour but it seems they will hit the road in January.

Speaking to the Official Charts Company after their single 'Wings' hit No.1 yesterday (September 2), they said:

"We've got our tour which we can confirm is starting next year at the end of January! Be there or be square, man!"

Talking about their chart success, Little Mix revealed their pride at having a self-written song perform so well. They said:

"It means a lot because obviously we got a Number 1 at Christmas with 'Cannonball', but that wasn't OUR song really, so now that we've become Number 1 with our own song that we wrote, we're so proud, best feeling ever. Continue to listen to it and dance away in your bedrooms in your pants!"
