Taylor Swift's new single passes 1 million sales

'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together', the new single from Taylor Swift, has hit the 1 million sales mark after just three weeks of being released.

Nielsen SoundScan reports that the track has shifted around 1.2 million digital copies, with 253,000 downloads purchased just over the last week, and it's currently America's biggest-selling digital single.

This week has been nothing but successful for the talented songstress as she's due to perform at the MTV VMAs tomorrow (September 6) and was also nominated earlier today for 2 Country Music Awards in the Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist Of The Year categories.

She was honoured with the Generation Award by the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) and will receive the prize on September 9 at a ceremony in Saskatoon. Watch her new music video below:
