Ne-Yo scores fifth UK number one with ‘Let Me Love You’

Ne-Yo has today scored his fifth UK number one single with ‘Let Me Love You.’

The US R&B star, who has previously topped the charts with ‘So Sick,’ ‘Closer,’ ‘Beautiful Monster’ and Pitbull collaboration ‘Give Me Everything,’ took pole position in a week which saw the whole Top 3 occupied by new entries.

The Script & will.i.am’s ‘Hall Of Fame’ debuted at No.2, just ahead of Pink’s ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss),’ last week’s number one, Little Mix’s ‘Wings,’ dropped to No.4, while Sam & The Womp’s ‘Bom Bom’ fell to No.5.

Elsewhere, there were new entries for Flo Rida’s ‘I Cry’ (No.11), Plan B’s ‘Deepest Shame' (No.27), Professor Green’s ‘Avalon’ (No.36), The Vaccines' 'Teenage Icon' (No.39) and climbs for fun’s ‘Some Nights’ (No.10) and Cheryl Cole’s ‘Under The Sun’ (No.15).
