Carly Rae Jepsen: "Justin Bieber helped change my world"

Carly Rae Jepsen has praised Justin Bieber for helping to ignite her music career.

The singer began life in the limelight on Canadian Idol in 2007 before launching the low-key album 'Tug of War' in 2008.

However, she is set to unleash her first ever worldwide album 'Kiss' on September 17 and it will feature her smash hit single 'Call Me Maybe'.

Jepsen is releasing the album on the label of Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and she told The Sun that it has been extremely positive having the 'Believe' star on hand to help. She said:

"It's just nice in general that he has been such a big supporter. He changed the game for me and I don't know what I would be doing had he not come along and put his influence behind 'Call Me Maybe'."

Jepsen continued: "It really changed my world, so I'm very grateful that we're a team. My sister is adamant that one way or another we're going to have a hang session with Justin though. I'm like: 'Ooookay, I'll see what I can do'."
