P!nk says Eminem duet was a swap deal for 2010 collaboration

P!nk has revealed how her new duet with Eminem came about.

The rapper is set to feature on the flamboyant singer's new track 'Here Comes The Weekend', which is due to be included on her forthcoming album 'The Truth About Love'.

The album will be unleashed on Monday (September 17) as P!nk looks to re-ignite her solo career following the birth of her first child.

Speaking to Capital FM, the 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' star said that the new collaboration was a swap deal after she performed on Eminem's 2010 track 'Won't Back Down'. She said:

"He asked me to be on his last record, 'Won't Back Down' [was] the song we did and I just said OK I'll do you – you gotta do me. It was like an over the phone friendship deal – and then he was on mine [album]. I'm a super fan."

P!nk confirmed that the pair didn't meet up in the studio when recording 'Here Comes The Weekend', but spoke over the phone.
