Pixie Geldof has been on the receiving end of online death threats after being seen out with One Direction's Harry Styles.

The singer and pop heartthrob was photographed recently with Geldof as they left a party in London together.

It appears some over-protective One Direction fans turned on Geldof however and sent her death threats on Twitter.

BBC Radio 1 DJ and mutual friend of the pair Nick Grimshaw tweeted: "Reading some of @pixiegeldof1's death threats. Lol."

It is reported that one user said: "I hate you b***h, f**k I'll kill you."

Another Twitter user meanwhile said: "Look i follow you to Say : stay away from harry you're nothing how the hell harry love you you're ugly girl."

Styles meanwhile recently waxed lyrical about model Cara Delevingne after seeing her London Fashion Week, saying that she looked "amazing".
