'Call Me Maybe' hitmaker Carly Rae Jepsen has spoken about how she is often mistaken for being younger and admitted that it's "flattering".

The Canadian singer is actually 26-years-old, but people usually assume that she's considerably younger and during an interview with New York Magazine's Vulture, she explained that it's not offensive to her:

"No, I think it's the opposite. It's extremely flattering. What woman doesn't want to hear that she looks younger?"

Her album, 'Kiss', debuted at No.8 on the midweek chart update today (September 19) and it's expected to do well when the official positions are confirmed over the coming weekend.
