Rising stars Stooshe have been announced as the support act for Jennifer Lopez's upcoming UK dates as part of her world tour.

The popular trio are set to perform at Dublin's O2 on October 19 before heading to the O2 Arena in London on the 22nd, and the short run will conclude in Manchester on October 23.

Speaking to Elle magazine about the exciting news, the girls explained that they "screamed" when they found out:

"When we found out we screamed. We want to have longevity and that is what she has. She has reinvented herself and she knows how to put on a show. I think I’m more excited about watching her than performing with her. But it’s amazing news. It’s great."

They were also recently nominated for a MOBO Award (Best Newcomer) and added that it's an honour to even be recognised by such an instution: "We didn’t expect it and we never actually thought about it but on our way to the [nomination] party people were like ‘you might be nominated!’ and we were like, ‘no, what would we be nominated for’? And when we were nominated we were silent!"

"Last year we went and had just been signed and no one knew who we were or asked us questions on the red carpet and now we’ve been nominated? It just shows how much has happened over the last year and it’s nice to be recognised for that."
